In recognition of its persistence in building ActiveJet brand awareness, ACTION S.A. won the Golden IT Ace Award ("Złoty As IT") in the first competition organised by Reseller News under that name. The winners were announced during an official "IT Aces Evening" gala held early in June 2013 in the Warsaw-based Endorfina Foksal restaurant.
Reseller News granted the title to the companies which perform best in the present demanding market conditions. According to the official economic data, the IT industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of economy. However, this also means an increasingly tough competition. This is the reason why Reseller News decided to award the "Golden Ace of IT" (Polish: "Złoty As IT") to the market players which have found their effective way of doing business in the ever-changing market environment.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who voted for ActiveJet. It is a great privilege to us and an obligation as well. We intend to continue the dynamic development of our ActiveJet brand, whose recognition is still very high, which is partially attributable to sponsoring of Legia {the Warsaw Football Club}. This, in turn, translates into excellent sales. In spite of the current difficult condition of our industry, we have recorded their increase even in the recent months," commented Rafał Ornowski, entrusted by the Board of Directors at Action S.A., the owner of the brand, with all affairs related to the ActiveJet brand.
The event held by Reseller News was attended by 140 participants, who included presidents, directors and representatives of management bodies of the top IT companies present in Poland, intensely active in the partner sales channel. The gala was organised under the patronage of Gazeta Bankowa (a business daily), wGospodarce (an online portal) and IDC (a market analyst).
